About us
We’re hunters first.
Like most hunters, we’ve spent years building our own opinions about what gets animals moving, what conditions matter, and what makes a day worth being in the field. Some of those ideas come from experience. Some come from research. And some we’re still learning.
PrecisionHunt started because the hunting apps we used would give us a rating, but rarely explain what was behind it. We didn’t want another number telling us whether today was a “good” day to hunt. We wanted to understand why.
Was it the temperature drop? The wind? Pressure? Food? Time of year? A combination of several things?
So we built PrecisionHunt around something we felt was missing: transparency.
You can see the strategy behind the score, understand what is helping or hurting it, and change it based on what you’ve learned in the field. Use one of our strategies, adjust it, or build one around the way you hunt.
We don’t believe PrecisionHunt has hunting figured out. Animals are unpredictable, every property is different, and experience still matters.
That’s the point.
PrecisionHunt isn’t meant to replace your instincts or tell you when you should hunt. It’s meant to give you better information, help you test what you believe, and make your own experience more useful over time.
