1. Who we are

PrecisionHunt is a hunt planning application. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using PrecisionHunt, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and any display name you provide.

Location data.The app uses your device's GPS coordinates to fetch weather data and calculate hunt scores for your saved areas. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

Usage data. We collect standard analytics such as app version, device type, crash reports, and feature usage patterns to improve the product.

Algorithm data. Algorithms you create and save are stored on our servers. If you choose to publish an algorithm to the community, it becomes visible to other users.

3. How we use your information

• To provide hunt scores, weather data, and forecasts for your saved areas.
• To sync your algorithms and areas across devices.
• To send transactional emails such as account verification and launch notifications (if you joined the waitlist).
• To diagnose bugs and improve app performance.
• To operate the community algorithm library, where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

PrecisionHunt uses third-party services to operate, including weather data providers and cloud infrastructure. These providers may receive your location coordinates or device identifiers as necessary to fulfill requests. They are contractually bound to use that data only to provide the service.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Users in certain jurisdictions (including the EU and California) have additional rights under applicable law.

7. Children

PrecisionHunt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PrecisionHunt after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
